Terms
Asked interviews you, turns your answers into posts in your voice, and hosts them at your page. These are the terms of that deal, in plain words.
Membership
Membership starts with a free trial: card required, nothing charged today, then the stated monthly price when the trial ends. Cancel before the trial ends, one click in Account, and you pay nothing. Cancel any time after and your membership runs to the end of the period. Your handle is yours from day one.
Your content
Your words are yours. By publishing publicly you let Asked host and display the post, your feed syndicate it, and your question be answered by others. Asked and its writing providers process an answer before a private save. The finished private answer is then encrypted on your device and stored in the active database as ciphertext that Asked cannot unlock without your password or recovery code. Restricted disaster-recovery backups may retain an older working copy until expiry or secure retirement.
Conduct
Write as yourself, in your own words. Do not use Asked for anything unlawful, for impersonation, or for spam. Asked can remove content or close accounts that abuse the service or other writers.
The honest part
Asked is a small, actively built product. It is provided as is: no uptime guarantee and no warranty, and features will change as it improves. Material changes to these terms will be posted here.
